Electronics Boutique was selling those for $9.99 new some months back. You might want to check them out. I honestly think it is an insult to the system when you consider that it is a next-gen system.

that GTA2 is an insult to the system or the price? i only want GTA2 cos i burnt out my video card and i have a hankering for some GTA action. GTA 1 wont cut it, and GTA3 wont be released for a while! LoL

I got a copy of this game. Yes thats right I said copy and I feel I legally own it since I own a legit copy of this game for PC. You can buy this game brand new on PC for $10 anywhere, and it is a heck of a lot better on PC. The DC version is basically the same as the PC version only the controls are horrible. As long as you got a P2 or higher PC this game will work fine on PC, and be just as cheap.

I played the heck out of this game (on PC). It beats GTA 3 by a long shot. It keeps the "Freedom to do what you want" that the newer GTA games have taken out. Fail a mission on gta2, no problem just do another one. Don't want to do missions? No problem find other ways to make money.

i have absolutely no power in my comp lol. I totally blew the sh*t outta my 3D card and it wont run anymore. thats why i wanna get it for DC. Plus with GTA3 coming to the DC i'd like to have GTA2 aswell... I don't know why lol.

Ok, lets port a game that wouldnt be very sucessful on DC, instead of porting it to Xbox or GC where it would sell loads.

It was originally planned for DC from what I heard, but went PS2 ways when sony started showing it off.

It's an unnoficial port, so porting it to the Dreamcast would be better. You wouldn't need to chip you DC, and Sony are less likely to care about it being released on a "dead" console.

My friend ran this game full speed on his old Pc. It was:

200mmx
32 megs ram
1 meg pci video card
1.1 gig hard drive.

Well it ran at least 90 percent of speed, very playable. GTA2 don't hardly take nothing to run on PC.

hmmm... i didnt know that. And yes it is better on the DC than on say Xbox. rockstar/sony wont care as much and eventually GTA3 will be ported to Xbox anyways.
