You need to get the BIOS file seperately from the emulator (Distributing Sony code with the emulator is illegal) Do a quick search on Google for it, and all of the plugins you will need. The readme's should have told you you would need the plugins for it.sega-wont-die wrote:now it says that i need bios or something?
Pete's various plugins work quite well, last I knew. Unless something better has cropped up in the meantime.

I don't know anything about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, but try to play with the settings until it gets better.sega-wont-die wrote:oh ok i got it working but when i play thps4 it flashes.
I think the first two played okay in ePSXe, but I can't check.
I remember they had bad missing polygons and flashing textures in all versions but the last Beta of Bleem.

I took me around 2 hours to get ePSXe to work good the first time I used it, (Final Fantasy 7!!) but once I figured it all out, it was great. Now, I had some serious problems with final fantasy 9, (speed problems) but other than that, ePSXe works best. (Now does anyone have an N64 emulator that will run Paper Mario?)

I just remembered, one of the video plugins for ePSXe has a problem where the textures will flash to just a plain colour with no shading. I believe it is the "Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.56". When I switched to another plugin, I had no problem. Oh, also if your ePSXe didn't come with plugins, I think the one @ http://www.zophar.net came with plugins.

Try using a different plugin, it can make a hell of a difference. For example using Jabo's D3D7 plugin I got parts of the game not displayed in Evangelion but when I switched to Jabo's D3D6 it worked perfectly.JAaron77 wrote:I have PJ64...it has problems with some kind of masking I think, so it shows black boxes around everything.
