homebrew gameshark
Is there any homebrew version of something similar to gameshark out or in the works at the moment?

I think that one could be made, as there's already one for the PSX. Although the fact that Action Replay CDX can be easily downloaded would probably dampen the spirits of developers.

yup. http://www.boob.co.uk/usertools.html is where it's at. it's the CDX demo version image, all the way at the bottom of the page.

Um... yeah, you're right. My guess is (and I could be wrong) that the WWWSHARK.TXT is really the binary, and needs to be renamed but I just tried renaming it 1st_read.bin and selfbooting it with selfboot.exe and it just resets after the SEGA screen. A few more attempts might tell me more conclusively what's up with that, but I don't really feel like wasting a bunch of CD-R's for something I might use twice.

Just make a self boot using DSSBS (Selfboot buddy rejects the files and closes) but dssbs uses batch (Yeeee haw) and works just fine. You dont have to change anything. Just for shiiits and giggles I copied CAST to 1st_read.bin just to avoid any 'rejection' errors (file not found or something) but I dont think it is nessesary at all.
MY QUESTION is,
is there a replacement wwwshark.txt that containes more codes ?
Peace
