Post your Dreamcast setup
Here is my Dreamcast setup which I did tonight:
Yes it comes in crystal clear on that monitor (not VGA) it's a Commodore compatible monitor, and WOW! Dreamcast games come in REALLY good on it! Even Capcom vs. SNK you can't see the "jaggies" on the 2D character modles.
I think my DC will stay hooked up this way for ALONG time!
Let me know what you all think.

It's an official Dreamcast keyboard, it came in the remake box that matches the 2nd generation Dreamcast boxes.
The monitor is composite (it has RGB connector, though made for Commodore 128 connection), however I tweaked it's settings to look extremely crisp.
My best friend was over today and also crapped his pants, he was like "It's so... PRETTY!" translation (the colors are perfect!) no color bleeding neither.

I had it hooked to S-Video on my 27" digital, and it just looks "better" on the Commodore compatible monitor!JDCreationz wrote:I have my Dreamcast on a Commadore monitor aswell!
I never even thought of how it would look
without one

"Yes, and all homebrew games should work on a VGA box, if not it's probably your ip.bin since that is where it is specified."
It's not quite true. There are some games that WILL NOT no matter what you do work on VGA. I believe they are ALL 2D games, not too many though. I'm trying to think of them but drawing a blank. One is a 2D fighter. I believe in total there are less then a dozen of these games though.
Me personally, I do have a VGA box... But to me, my 32" semi low end TV, situated right by my nice bed, is vastly superior to all you people playing on monitors - unless you happen to have one at least 27". The quality is nice, but it's not enough to make up for the teeny tiny size.
