I was looking at this self-boot link and it it states at the bottom "DCFactory Method NOT FOR USE WITH 0.9.8!!! " yet when I made the cd, i used 0.9.8 and it worked perfectly. Can someone explain this to me. Thanks

The only thing I can think of is that it tells you to delete the hearts, which are not present in 0.9.8.

it's because the DCFactory method isn't "officially" supported because KRYPT hasn't been around and i've been too lazy to add the features needed to a script.
