How do you make WIN32 Apps in Visual C++?

I only know how to use Code warrior so visual C++ seems a lot different getting it set up. Where do I add my own indepent file and code the file?

I got it working for dos but have no clue why it doesnt work for windows.

heh, does you program just does print something then exits?

well then of course once that process is terminated, windows will close that exe file.

so the program never really looks like it ran.

Just do what I do. Pull out that trusty old manual I know you have at your side and look it up. (Hint: It comes in the box with all of the CDs)

Its version is and its not warez copy belive it or not. Do i just set up win 32 stationary app?

Just add a new c++ source file after creating the app for adding new methods/functions that your program will use.

There's some tutorials here, that I used when I was learning to program the Win32 API. If you use these (alongside the MSDN knowledgebase, and a fairly thorough knowledge of C/C++ coding and debugging) you shouldn't have too much problems creating real Win32 apps.
