How do you make WIN32 Apps in Visual C++?
I only know how to use Code warrior so visual C++ seems a lot different getting it set up. Where do I add my own indepent file and code the file?
I got it working for dos but have no clue why it doesnt work for windows.

Just do what I do. Pull out that trusty old manual I know you have at your side and look it up. (Hint: It comes in the box with all of the CDs)clessoulis wrote:Dude there so many files to choose from to start as new mind telling me a better than just new and file?toastman wrote:File->New

There's some tutorials here, that I used when I was learning to program the Win32 API. If you use these (alongside the MSDN knowledgebase, and a fairly thorough knowledge of C/C++ coding and debugging) you shouldn't have too much problems creating real Win32 apps.

These tutorials became the base of my personal windows API app framework.
