I actually saved money up, and bought Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, I dont know how good the game is, I just took a chance, im hoping kind of like Resident Evil.
I almost bought that game for PSX a while back. Now that I have a DC I am glad that I didn't. I could probably find a used DC version cheaper than a used PSX version.
It's a good game. The "store" I "bought" it from only had one of the discs. Additionally, the disc was in French. Other than the fact that I understood nothing, I thought it was pretty good. I beat the first disc.
It's the sequel to the original survival horror game. Anyway, does anyone agree with me that they should release the original Alone in the Dark for Game Boy Advance? I think the GBA could handle it. Just look at Tony Hawk 3 for GBA. The characters have more polygons than the AITD characters, and the backgrounds are higher resolution, not to mention that THPS runs at a faster pace than AITD. The minimum system requirements are a 386DX33 with 4MB RAM. Optimized for GBA, the GBA could easily handle that.
I have the AITD trilogy for PC (part 1 to 3 ).
The coolest PC games at the time.
The Alone in the dark games still provides one of the best adventure game experiences.
Good choice!
