My Wallpaper

Post by Roofus »

I did this in Bryce 5 and I was so proud of it that I wanted to share it.
Why'd I do it in a 16:9 aspect ratio? Because I wanted to dammit!!

That's pretty sweet dude. Did you make the trees, or do you have a cool site where you can get 3d objects?

Bryce 5 has a tree lab. All you have to do is hit the tree button. :D

Bryce is cool. I use to mess around with that program. I once made a Bryce 4 movie where there was a desert, and in the middle of the desert was a bunch of piramids. Then a meteor hit the earth and destroyed everything. In the end, you saw a bunch of bricks from the piramids scattered everywhere and the mountains in the back had turned into a crater. It lasted about 40 seconds, but was cool as hell. Then I got Bryce 5 and started to make a forest, but I realized how long it was going to take to render, so I never finished it. Since then I learned Cinema, so Bryce hasn't been touched in a while. Still, it's the best tree and landscape making program ever.

I did a late evening/early morning version. It's also 4:3 this time and I think I like it better. What do you think?

I think you should have one with a sunrise. The orange and purple colors from the sky would really be neat in a picture like this.
