Queen of Hearts 2001: Partys breaker
PC, 2001
What is it: Take the characters from COmic Party, and throw them into a fighting game, which resembles plenty of fighting games from street fighter to guilty gear x and everything else in between.
Example. yu, looks like a demonic Naru Narusegawa from love hina with some twisted movelist that is a combination of sol and chipp from guilty gear x. Reiko fights just like kyo from his 95/99 incarnations. and Subaru fights like terry bogard/rock howard.
Graphics are similar to capcom vs snk series. the backgrounds and special effects are high res, but the characters are low res. everything is animated nicely, and there is no slowdown. when someone connects with a powerful move the screen does a nice blur effect.
Music is standard upbeat anime-ish tunes, but nothing too anoying.
control is easy to get into. there are 3 buttons for light, medium and hard attack. moves are a mixture of charges, motions, and double tap movements, so not too hard to do any of the moves.
its a nice little diversion from most of the fps, and strategy games on pc, and the system requirements arent too high either. a pentium 3 class machine with a geforce 2 card will do just nicely.
theres a bit more to the play mechanics, but its late and im tired. if theres any interest, ill write more. im still working on my gamefaqs faq for the game

yup its really for pc. really fun game, though being a fighting game, a gamepad is just about an absolute must, unless youre some insane person like my brother that can actually play fighting games with a keyboardAmadeusZull wrote:looks kool. this really 4 pc?? animations are tight.
