what sites can i get the most updated emulators and info

i just want to know the sites to get emulators and the m,oste updated info on them.....plus whats thes best n64 emu now....

i have a 2.53 ghz p4, with 1 gig ram, 120 gig hard drive, and a gforce4 4600 ti w/128 megs of ram,....so what the best n64 emus for me.

I think 1964 is the best N64 emu right now.
If you're lucky your crappy computer may be able to run it

Not lately it aint, then again if you look in the boards there instaed of the main page you're normally up to date. Of course VGN is another news source or of course the sticky above this post which rounds up emu info daily so you dont have to go round several places to get it. As for the N64 emu try PJ64 & 1964 as they both run well, 1964 has a slight speed advantage whereas PJ64 has great compatibility, if you use Jabo's Direct3D 7 1.40 plugin for both then if one dont run your game the other will. Personally I use both on my ancient p2 350 and they both run decently on my Voodoo 3 so on a geforce card the plugin should fly.

The thing that matters the most (regarding N64 emus) is the plugins you use.
recommendations are:
Jabo's Direct3D for Video
Azimer's Audio for Audio
N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V 2 1.80a for Input

You might wanna try the Jabo DirectSound plugin aswell.

http://www.zophar.net is updated a lot and it has emulators for everything, and Project 64 should work very well for your computer.
