DC Media player doesn't work

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

I believe you would be referring to the thenesis DC Media Player? Project was aborted, its developer left to pursue a 3d engine. Don't think its been updated since .02. Stick to dc divx or gypplay.
Need a Treamcast, Dreamcast modchip, HUGE DC memory card, ASCII-like DC fighter pad, or Saturn Gameshark with tons of backup memory? PM me.

Dc-DivX plays DivX if they are encoded properly. There is a encoding guide in my sig..
If you want to play Mpeg-1 files then use GypPLay it will play just about any mpeg you get off the net without.
It doesn't play MPG's or AVI's..
The DC media player only works with OpenDivX and doesn't have sound support.
