Can you copy a .CDI cd?

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

But why?

Why go through all the trouble to copy a game when you can easily buy it online or in a store?

Sorry, but i'm afraid we aren't allowed to let you discuss backing up commercial games, even for backup purposes. Read the FAQ.

There are many places out there which can help you with the question, but again I'm not allowed to divulge that information. You will have to find a way yourself.

are you asking whether you can backup a homebrewed/emulator game? or a commercial one into a CDI computer image format? or are you asking how to burn a CDI to CD.

If so, tell us the name of what your trying to do, and more detail in what you are trying to accomplish.

We may or may not be able to help... we'll see.
