I have never download mame or mamed fro Dreamcast. I recently downloaded the pc emulator b.c I finally got a dump of the simpsons arcade game. I got it to work with the mame emulator on my PC. but before I waste a CD-R, does anyone know if it is compatable with any of the mame emulators for DC???? Which one, and how well does it work?

Sad but true. You can't play the Simpsons. This game should be in Pack 2, you can still play good Konami games in it like Contra, Super Contra, Parodius, Gradius and others.
Recently, a TMNT emulator based in MAME has been released.
Probably in a couple of months, a Simpsons emulator will be released following the example of that TMNT emu.
