Some minor Framebuffer tricks

Post by Quzar »

Wanted to share some small experimenting I did following the redesign of framebuffer multibuffering in KOS:

https://gitlab.completext.com/Dreamcast ... fer-tricks

The project just gives some simple examples of how to directly access video registers to produce some screen effects. The principles of these could be used to make some minor effects like a shakey screen or a rolling frame transition without the kind of overhead that might be needed in doing so by adjusting the data in the frame.
