ybdyn over at Assemblergames.com has made much progress on his GD ROM drive emulator. He has the games running from SD cards now, but says HDDs can be done in the future.

O_O no way! I never thought this would actually ever come to fruition (even to this extent). This is the last step the DC needs to become immortal (assuming the non-laser parts of it are as durable as we think). Not to mention useful for being able to revive one of my dead DCs.
let's hope that this pans out.
