JUP!

The PAL and JAP servers are still online :) Enough players at night! If you use a PAL copy of PSO or PSO v2 with correct serialnumber you're in. You can use dialup or bba

Holy crap! I didn't realize that.

But then again, what're the chances of me finding a PAL PSOv2 on Ebay complete with actual serial and password?

Also, would I have to hex edit my save file to convert my character to PAL like I did with Shenmue 2?

Damn, I didn't realize DC people were still on legit servers. That just makes everything more badass.

I had a good time with Smurph tonight :D

But that darn Dark Falz is hard at hard difficulty level :S

I would love to join you Gameholic... I have a legit copy of PSOv2 PAL, but I can not go online with dial-up anymore. And a BBA is too expensive.

Wish i got into PSO, if i started now i'd be a pathetically weak noob...

Then again i'm too lazy to find a v2 copy, i have a v1 with a serial no. and stuff would that not work? or does it have to be v2?

Nah, you can play v1, but you have to join teams that are specifically playing v1.

yeah and i heard Sega isn't giving out any serialnumbers again of PSO v1. Because you can buy a used copy of PSO v1/v2 and email Sega to release the used serial codes. If they release it you can connect :)

I bought pso pal for a few dollars. I emailed sega for a serial number and access key, and they emailed me back in under 24hours with working numbers and keys.

Someone from sega said that they weren't giving out v1 codes anymore, which sounds like some Customer Service dude doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

I'll pick up v1 and see if sega will hook me up.

peace,

King.

You guys can still get online with NTSC Ver 2.0...

Does anybody have any information about using my NTSC save file with the PAL PSO? Is there a hex hacking guide somewhere or something?

No. XD

Don't get any ideas...

But yeah, it's definately a good idea to show SEGA that the Dreamcast is still kicking ass. That's why I'm gonna buy the PAL ver of PSO ver 2.

I found that recently, that hackers (skiddies, actually) and cheaters have begun to trickle into the legit server. I think I may start reporting their asses.
