First of all black metal, death metal, green metal, I don't give a shit what you call it when there is no discernible musical difference. If it rocks hard and you like it, it rocks hard and you like it.

Next, that girl in that picture that people either want to pork or thinks is pork:
She's cute, looking a little teen-ish to me, but hey then again, some of you are teens yourselves. As for "ultra big boobed play mate", no, not by a long shot.

There's a lot of subtle differences that metal heads pick up, it's like the difference of styles between an italian opera or a french opera though.

the main difference is the vocals between the two, but regardless both black and death metal are now in the unfortunate position of being restricted by the "rules" of thier genres, so very little innovation goes on over there, oh and i'd be ashamed to be in a genre that still has many overtly racist, nazi characters involved in it.

Honestly black/death metal aren't to my tastes, i like the odd track when i hear them but they'd never be my first choice when choosing a cd to put on.

as far as the racism goes, a lot of those norweigan bands are known for being outspoken racist, homophobes, with the odd band being involved with murders and church burnings. Mayhem are probably the most well known for this but there are other groups too as well as the NSBM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSBM

dunno about black sabath, buth AC/DC isnt that hard is it? the only song i really know of them is thunderstruck, which i like, but it doesnt really strike me as metal at all
