It isn't his fault the media loves him...
Why does he pay good money for a publicist then? And how does the press know his whereabouts at all times? I'm fully aware recent events mean you could argue he pays for a publicist for extra marital sex, but I think he has a new one
Wayne Rooney. Meh.
You couldnt find a more typical piece of scouce scum if your tried. (Im not saying all scoucers are scum, just that, out of all the scum that is in liverpool, he's clearly the king).
Oh and hes an overated footballer too.
One day theyll say he's gonna be "the next eric cantona" then Ill really be pissed. Whenever a good footballer comes along somebody always questions whether they will be "the next eric cantona". It just wont happen. There will never be a successor to King Eric,
Beckham is England's best player and without him they wouldn't have qualified for Euro 2004 or the last World Cup. I think it's fair enough to knock him for his publicity seeking but his ability as a footballer is unquestionable. There isn't a better crosser of the ball in Europe.
Backham's had his day though. Don't get me wrong we do need him, jus he is slightly overrated now.
Rooney, is very young and aggressive, and that's what gives him his good game. He isn't scum he's actually a nice guy. Used to see him when he was 17 and making hardly anything on his BMX going to Everton since I live over the road. For the age of him and lack of experience you're telling me he isn't a good player, and isn't gonna improve ?
Like I said I do think he'll get sent off and people will get pissed with him, but it's the aggression that gives him his good game.
They said to him 'you'll have to calm down..' and beckham said 'No! Don't!'

Godamn, Rooney played OK, but got greedy when he was running with it, if he'd have crossed there'd have been a secure goal. James is gonna get a headache.

I was so surprised that it was Gerrard that made the mistake for France's winner. France didn't deserve to win but I think they did deserve a point out of the game.
