Yes and no. They work, but for some reason it doesn't register when I hit the bass pedal and green pad at the same time. It might just be my drum set though. Regardless, I don't know why anyone would WANT to use them with RB/GH. There's absolutely no "bounce-back" to these drums, it's like hitting cardboard. The pads are also too small, especially the red.Hasney wrote:Do the drums work on RB/GH?

I bought Uplink from Introversion a few weeks ago. Very nice. It runs without flaws on linux (no emulation, native). The developers are also known for darwinia and defcon.

Ghostbusters - PS3
Infamous - PS3
Overlord - Wii
Ghostbusters was entertaining, but short...and felt like it was trying a little too hard. I posted a separate thread about my experiences with that.
Infamous is my current project. I'm about halfway through it, and it is an excellent game. The graphics are pretty decent, the story is intriguing, and it feels like it takes all the new concepts that developers struggled with last generation and really nails them for the first time. There's an open game world that feels both detailed and immersive, the game can be played at your own pace with plenty of things to do (both side missions and just general exploration/item collecting), the level design is good, the world is dynamic and reacts to you without feeling like it was just built around your character, and it has a good/bad karma system that actually has ramifications and doesn't feel tacked on. (Also, most of the moral choices provide significant character incentive for either option, so it's well written and actually makes sense within the game regardless of what you choose).
After I finish Infamous, I'm going to try Overlord. I've heard good things about the Wii version (the most resonating description was as sort of an "evil Pikmin"), so I'll post about that later. Haven't been getting as much time to play lately, though, as I've had to contend for TV time with my girlfriend ever since she downloaded Final Fantasy 7 on the PS3.

Did they do a better job than they did with the GBA version? I've heard some less-than-great things about both the controls and the emulation.curt_grymala wrote:Sonic the Hedgehog (iPhone)

How is it compared to Frequency/Amplitude? Those were my two favorite rhythm games of all time, I'm tempted to buy another PSP just to try this one out.BoneyCork wrote:Rock Band: Unplugged

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Can't really say because I've never played Frequency. It is really fun though and I'd recommend it to any fans of the genre. Only real problems are the crappy visuals, and playing rhythm games with standard buttons seems a bit desperate now after all these great controllers we're now used to. Also, you mentioned buying another PSP...I dont think it's great enough to justify that, especially if you already have the home console versions. The only reason you're gonna want to play this over another version is for the portability.Luriden wrote:How is it compared to Frequency/Amplitude? Bought Worms 2 on XBLA the day it came out. Fun game, but is in major need of a patch. So many things are broken in the game.

PSP-3000 Rock Band bundle w/ 4 gig pro duo $180 with K-Mart discount
With every step Sony takes to prevent piracy on the PSP with new models, it becomes even easier to mod it. PSP-3000 was hands-down the easiest mod I've ever done on a PSP.

Radial 50, Myst, and Sway for iPod Touch. I've found that the Touch has pretty much replaced my DS, since it's always with me anyway and there hasn't been a DS release I've been interested in since last fall.
Been debating the new Tales of Monkey Island for Wii, but I have a few other games I should probably finish first.

Waiting for that to hit PS3. Braid, Castle Crashers, and the Fallout expansions are also reportedly making the leap sometime soon. Now, if only they'd bring over Rez HD....Yonke wrote:Marvel Vs Capcom 2 XB360
