Anyone knows if BERO begin to work in the movie player again?
Or he just abondoned the projet?

I haven't been here in a while, but last I heard he had a lot of other projedts he was working on. He kinda put this on the back burner. I'm sure we'll see something eventually.

I cannot get my Real Media to playback either. Any secrets would be great..

It doesn't play modern realmedia... only really really old codecs.

the sound stutters like mad which is crap but the picture quality is absolutely fantastic, look forward to the next update.

The bero player works flawlessly at any audio bitrate without stutter, as well as at any video bitrate, all you have to ensure is that the resolution is 352x240.

It does not handle other resolutions well.

yeah. i hope he or someone else gets to work on this again. its a really awesome player imo,. only things need fixing is the sync issues, modern file format support (realmedia, windows media, etc.), and a decent gui.

It can not sync no matter what the pc version it's based off does not have sync. Only way it would apear to sync would be if it was fullspeed. On a pc it looks ok but still does not sync really.

I doubt any one can compile the source code. But it's there for people to work on .

There isn't any code to keep the video and audio together. This is why so many people get confused. It just plays the audio and video at the same time, and if they stay together, awesome. If not... then it can get pretty bad. There is no code to actively sync the audio to the video. Certain formats/bitrate/resolutions will be more likely to stay together than others.

He released the source to it, I don't know if he plans to continue work on it himself. Unfortuntely, even getting his code to compile is a problem. But someone else might eventually pick it up.

HI! I'm new in this...
I recently burned a DC Inducer CD, and one of the apps I included was the DC Movie Player...
The deal is, when I load it, nothing happens... I only get a black screen and the cd keeps spinning....
I want to know how it's suposed to be... or work...
Would it work if I put the DC Movie Player in a CD just for itself? Maybe it doesn't work for the DC Inducer...
Otherwise, how can I make it work?
I'll apreciate any response

thys is a bug, the player freezes when you have a lot of files in the CD, try burn it with few aplications....

I would have to say that if it was in synch, it would be the best movie player ever. I can play 640x480 xvid videos and the only problem is the audio synchige. I have sat with my friend and watched some of the videos and they are mostly watchable. So what ever happend to Bero anyway?
