I think they decided not to change their name since everytime I have been flipping channels it still says SciFi. Probably because of the huge response they got from the idea of changing the name to syfy.

It's like Star Trek playing on SpikeTV all the time. I'm sorry, but if you're the "manly man" audience this channel caters to, Star Trek is on the bottom of favourable shows to watch.
Not saying their line-up is all that great anyways...
