I once contracted tonsilitis and my parents just thought I was being a pussy over the pain and it was just a saw throat. After about 2 weeks of suffering (I couldnt go to the doctor myself as it was over Christmas so the local ones had shut), my parents finally gave up when I could no longer swallow liquids and my breath stunk like a rotting cow. Some antibiotics and 48 hours later I was perfectly fine.
Ill never forgive my folks for that.
