Holy Cow!

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

{yeah, none of those are serious...especially the last one :P}
And why not? It is a DREAMcast after all.

We're way too poor to buy our own pressing equipment :(
DaMadFiddler wrote:Dan became an official Sega licensee.
whoops, no answer to this remark
DaMadFiddler wrote:Dan got a professional distributer.
I don't know who is more professional than the GOAT Store, LLC and Lik-Sang ;)
DaMadFiddler wrote:Dan bought Sega.
If we don't have enough money for our own pressing equipment, I can guarantee that we don't have enough to purhcase Sega / Sammy Games.
DaMadFiddler wrote:Sega bought Dan.
Sega does not own my soul... yet. And the GOAT Store isn't for sale and hopefully never will be.
DaMadFiddler wrote:Dan finally figured out how to do a hadouken that travels more than two inches.
About that hadouken though... well :D I need to see if I can pull that off again!

I am falling to pieces, due to the suspense! :wiggle:

Hmm... May be viewed as bad, although is not actually as bad as initially seems... What could be possible to be viewed as "bad," while also lending "credibility"? Quite interesting...

This is awesome news, Dan! It's also great to hear that they're so supportive of the free independant productions. This has me very excited. I hope it all works out well, and that a system is figured out for game submissions that's easy, free (or almost free), and time-efficient for all parties involved.

:D This is way I loved Sega; they actually are cool. Congrats Dan on the possible Sega approval; this would be a huge step for the homebrew community.

Sounds good but in reality wouldn't a company like Sega of America expect some kind of royalty fee for this service and usage of trademarks?
