Nice screenshots..! will download it later, but im really curios about TriggerHappy - it almost sounds like an GTA VC meets Postal.. best of both worlds ehh?

actually TriggerHappy and Sprint are two different titles.

Sprint is the one posted here. It will be a racing game.

As for TriggerHappy... that's top secret for now. :twisted: (I'll leave it up to ice88 if wants to tell ya - it's his baby, I'm just along for the ride)

Triggerhappy has a titel that atleast triggers my bloodlust. Maybe you would be intrested in some _heavy_ psy-trance to the game? ;)

anyways, ice88 please tell me more about this game..

And the game Sprint looks like crazy cars (or something like that) to the good ol' amiga 500.. i loved that game so i'm gonna get it as soon at its released

Yes, accutally.. sorry.. :( -i was reading up on burning emulators, speaking with my fianc?, playing with our new kitten as well as posting. Im a really curious person and the title Mortar Kombat also sounds good. Is there any screenshots..?

Could anyone recommend a website that offers freeweb space.. my geocities account was overloaded in about 2 minutes.. wohoo, thank god for fast ISP you dont have to wait so long for the files to upload instead you got upload/download limiter. :S

How big should the loops be then? a five second loops isn't that hard to make, a bit repative also.. a Flat Eric style of song? ;)

anyways, gonna check which website seems to be the best

What key is for turing ? reminds me of a game called slicks on the c64.. That was neat or last V8 that was not as goood.

Cursors = D-PAD, left and right turn.

A = A button
Z = B button
X = X button
S = Y button

(wierd, I know!)

KosINE is good for what I'm doing - but it doesn't have much function, just enough to let me test things on the PC.

Well its brill ian KosINE . Your Game is looking good Are you thinking of 4 player games that would be a big plus. I dont know why on my pc the Cursors keys are not making it turn ..


Glad the standard has gone up nice to see real progress great job so far ian.

Good luck geting the game play frantic and fun could nab you the victory!


OH what does F1 key do it sort of goes fullscreen?

qw3rty - never played the C64 game - but some kind of driving thing is coming!

Merkoth - if you test your tiles out, super cool - we can be a little more creative with the track - all tiles can be fully rotated.

One snag you may hit is that the PNGs need to be saved 24-bit with alpha channel - if not you get horrible black squares around everything!!!!! So if you get nasty looking overlaps... that'll be the problem.

you know what? i made a new tileset, but i forgot to make the textures cyclic, so the track looks "funny". another thing: the tilesets mus be 256x256 because i made a nice splash screen in 640x480 so, do i have to separate the tiles? and (finally) could you explain me the *.lyr format?

tilesets must be 256x256.

The splash-screen doesn't need to be 256x256 - and doesn't need to be split up, it can be loaded as a single image - not a problem.

Ugh! The .lyr format - it's complicated! When I have time I'll document it - drop me a line and I'll take a look at your work, thanks for doing it too!
