It depends on what you mean by speed. If you measure speed by how long things take to happen (like the music, character movements, that kind of stuff), then some games do run full speed, even with frameskipping. If you want to measure speed by how many frames are drawn per second and the time things take to happen, then it's a different stopy.
Since some games don't run at 60FPS anyway, I'd class anything running at 30FPS with the gameplay going along at normal speed as "full speed". Of if I don't notice the frameskipping, of course.
There are a few that come close, with frameskipping. But there aren't that many (that I've seen anyway) that I would class as full speed with possibly minor frameskipping.

either you guys have SERIOUS issues, or you guys are playing them without sound AND without transparencies! you guys should really put in all the details before you get peoples hopes up! sure it's great with all the cool things turned off, but games like punchout and battletoads double dragon you can play perfectly with sound but without transparencies

alright absolute perfect games i have played with sound and all (yes that includes stereo):
super punchout
lufia 2
i define full speed when it is a reasonable pace but doesnt jerk and the screen and movement is all perfectly smooth (jerk=pentium 200 running quake 3 w/tntm64 at 640x480x16b). these are all perfectly smooth but are slower then the real thing. but none jerkiness is very fun to play in because its a simulated full speed...i prefer none jerkiness slightly slower over fast movement with jerkiness![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

(offtopic) That's a good RPG. It's simply called Lufia over here in Europe, because the first title wasn't released here. I played it for many hours on my SNES, then one day I turn it on and the screen is full of garbage. I think: "hmm that's odd", turn it off and back on. Luckily I saw that everything was working again.. until I wanted to load my game and found out that my savegame was gone.Captain Tokyo wrote:One of the best games I've played on DSNES was Lufia 2 : Rise of the Sinistrals. Which played very reasonably.

Donkey Kong Country - No change from the original that I can notice
Super Mario World - same, but I only played the first few stages
Street Fighter II Turbo - Not perfect, but if you turn the stars up (4 not 10) it is very playable.
I play with sound on and transparencies off - unless they are needed.

I know most of you have probably never played this game, but...
Ranma 1/2: Akanekodan works pretty well most of the time. There is the occasional slowdown when many characters, or dialog, are shown on screen, and the sound effects are delayed a split second, but it's perfectly playable on DSNES.
PS: I'm new here. Hi.
