One thing I like to do when eating ramen is crumble some crackers into the soup it fills me up more, and I love the broth that is made when you put the flavor packet in the water. I think there should be a shrine for ramen noodles, cuz the stuff is godly.

Something that's been bugging me...

Isn't "ramen noodles" redundant?

I just had a good mix.

I boiled water with chili powder and then added crab legs, and only put about 1/4 of the pack of salty stuff in. It tastes almost to salty if a person puts the whole thing in.

I finally tried fathedpi's method, and it tastes exactly the same way I originally started making ramed. I can't remember why I switched to cup Ramen, now.

Just got these from a Superstore. Sixty-six cents a cup and 1810 mg of sodium... it's easily the best ramen I've ever had. Really spicy, with lots of flavour and great vegetables and fungi (mushrooms) in it.

I was only thinking of this topic the other day.....

No wonder that box has what looks like the output of one of those heart moniters on it if it has 1810mg of sodium,

I found a really good ramen place here in Japan the other day. Their best dish is easily "Stamina Ramen" it has a slightly garlic taste to it, and is layered with giant pieces of perfectly cooked pork. Plus it only costs about 500 Yen, which isnt bad for a restaraunt.

I wish I could get that kind around here. I can't find anything except Cup Noodles and the other one. They're good, but I want something else.

Xylene, check a 7-11. That have those exact noodles in every 7-11 near me. I love them too, so spicy.

Those are good, but I found the absolute best instant ramen noodles in a local fish market, the company is "ATF anthaifood" and the flavor is "tom yam"

This is the company's logo:

Just get the "Tom Yam" flavor

I love that soup. The best "sushi" though, is a california roll, with tempura inside.

no, green veggie monster. Was one of the specials at a restaurant I used to live near in Boston. Was cucumber, carrot, and something else crunchy. Avocodo wrapped around the /outside/, lightly spread sesame oil over that & sprinkled with sesame seeds. Two bits of carrot for the eyes, and the carrot sticking out from the inside for the tongue.

Super-cute and easily the best-tasting sushi I've ever had.

But then, I'm a sucker for anything w/avocodo.
