Didn't really buy since its just an internet d/l, but I got Kingdom of Tenai mod for Diablo 2. Its actually really cool, and gives the game more replay value. Just cant play on BNet servers but theres a way to play on an independent server just for the mod.
Finally picked up Zelda: Wind Waker today for the wallet friendly price of $20. So far it is pretty fun and the graphics aren't annoying like a majority of people make them out to be.
I dunno why people complained about Wind Wakers graphics - they simply could not have done some of the characters in any other graphical style - how the hell could snot-nosed kid on outset be anything other than a cartoony caricature?
Picked up crash Twinsanity and Star Wars Battlefront for xbox, my local gamestore didn't have it in for pc , and i wasn't in the mood for going 30 miles away to get it so., anyway im going to try it out on xbconnect later, i cant play it now cos my gf wont let me, she is playing crash twinsanity and wont let me use my xbox .
WW was pretty good to me. There weren't that many dungeons, but what dungeons existed were great. The story was great, it explained a lot about the Zelda universe. I can't wait to play the next one they have in line. The petty/inane requests you get from people are kind of annoying. What kind of hero plants decorations around a town for morale when he's supposed to be on a quest to fight Ganon?
I suggest people get the cheap retail version of Half-Life 2, it's 80 dollars for the Collector's Edition and all you get is a free shirt and a crappy Prima book with excerpts from the strategy guide/half-life book and an updated version of a game you've already played. I wouldn't buy from Steam which supports Valve who cheated us on the retail versions.
Picked up Battlefield 1942 World War 2 Anthology (pc). installing it now, cant wait to play it with all the things i've been told about it its meant to be great.
