Ok... I went to http://mc.pp.se/dc/dreamsnes/, clicked on http://www.lysator.liu.se/dreamsnes/dsinstaller.zip then read the readme. it said to go into dsnes/pike/ and right-click on the "gtkpike-setup" file, then click install. Then to go back a page and jump into the other folder and double-click on the "dreamsnesinstall" file and it should start something. Well every time i get as far as right-clicking the "gtkpike-setup" file, it copies some files to win 32 then a command promp-looking window appears and it says "loading installation script, please wait...". So i wait about 4 seconds, then it gets an error saying something like "pike.exe has stopped working" and some crap about windows finding a solution to the problem (yea right). Thats about as far as i can get. Ive tried this on a Vista and an XP desktop. I just realy like the screenshots ive seen and what ive heard about Dreamsnes. Any help would be great!
Thanks a ton in advance,
jennifer

Welcome to DCEmulation.org, Jennifer.
dsinstaller and Pike aren't really used anymore these days - Personally I never used this method. I propose to forget everything you read and start again with this great tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=68460
If you got any more questions, just post them here.
