This is a little late, but the offer still is going apparently. If you have an nvidia card installed just go to the link, it scans ur system and then lets you download the game free of charge. Enjoy! Also comes with a portal demo, lost coast and some other game.

I just got it yesterday, glad too as I haven't bought HL2 for PC as I have 360 orange box (and HL2 for xbox1) and I dont know how well it would run on my Laptop in linux under wine. Though i've downloaded it and it runs great for me, so if anyone wants to get some games going lemme know.

apparently my HL2 DM folder takes up a bit less than 150 MB
