And my buddy called me last night to tell me what he got for Christmas; A baby girl.

That's great news! Congratulations to him!

All up I am happy, I got lots of useful things for my new flat and with the money that I got I am going to put it towards a 2 or 3 seater lounge, because at the moment the only thing I have to sit on is my computer chair and the seats around my table.

I also need a fridge (I only have a bar fridge at the moment) so I am unsure whether I should put the money towards that instead.

This year my family decided to do one of those "family gift" type things. We all chipped in and bought a 1080p 40" Sony Bravia HDTV and a Sony 5.1 dolby digital audio system + 5 disc DVD player. We mounted it on the wall in the basement we just finished and ran all wires in the walls so its a very clean setup. I'm a happy guy

Sounds really nice, I am VERY tempted to get a Sony Bravia TV because at the moment Sony are offering a free PS3 with any HD Bravia TV.

Yeah I heard about that. I haven't really noticed any audio troubles, then again I just have my Wii audio going into a 4 speaker stereo. It doesn't sound bad at all to me.

I made an account on the Guitar Hero community website, told them to send me emails and everything. I also linked it with my game so I should be all set to receive my replacement.

Not that item exactly, but just to get an idea, we get ours in bags from the company direct.

But for Christmas I got about $200 towards my TV, Orange Box for Xbox 360, Quite a lot of money from family, well more then I was expecting. I think it was like $200 or so. I also made quite a nice bit of tips on Christmas Eve for only working 6 hours I got $35 bucks in tips. Humm.. didn't really get anything else, my mom drove me to 5 Gamestops to FINALLY find a damn Hori 360 Arcade stick, I will also probably buy Crackdown,Dead or Alive 3, as well as another cheap 360 game, now that they have a buy 2 used get one free.
