Have any of you guys who live in the area or been there recommend me some spots to check out, It's going to suck being by myself.

I would suggest hanging out in the area around the University of South Florida. There is a hotel directly across the street from the tampa campus that is fairly nice and inexpensive. Tampa is awesome but consider driving a few miles to go to Banana Joes on Ladies night (every friday). Its a pussy parade there

Well, in my opinion, there isn't too much to do in Tampa. I have lived here all my life and been rather bored. But Busch Gardens is cool, I guess.

Well, I hope you enjoy yourself here. You might want to check out Ybor City. As bad as I want to move, if things keep going the way they are now, I might have to stay here for college at USF.
