There you go.
I mean why don't they release the concert as an audio cd or dvd.

Wow, thank you.
Although I couldn't understand where most of the tunes came from they were certainly not matching the videos, The intro Sega was awesome, the touch of green hill zone was memorable everything after that was.....
and then the last 40 seconds were again familiar.

They were all from Sonic 1. The video was just a montage, not a representation of what you were hearing.BILAL_XIA wrote:Wow, thank you.

Not sure how you couldn't get most of the music, they were all instantly recognisable to me:
In order:
- Green Hill Zone
- Labyrinth Zone
- Marble Zone
- Starlight Zone
- Scrap Yard Zone
- Final Zone
- Spring Yard Zone
- Sonic 1 Main Theme
I'm pretty sure it's the exact same as the medley that plays during the credits, but that might be in a different order I can't remember.

Re: Downloading Play! A Videogame Symphany
I actually got my start from Sonic The Hedgehog 2, I went back and played 1 but couldn't survive without the spin dash (or the vacume cleaner as I used to call it then).
Which explains why I only understood Green Hill Zone and Sonic Theme.
----
By the way I saw a clip on youtube, when Play was performing Mario in that they only showed the first stage of Super Mario Bros, I enjoyed that more...
----
One more thing, the person who is playing Sonic The Hedgehog, sucked at the game bad like he couldn't even jump on a spring even.

Almost as lame as an otherwise-devout Sega fanatic who never finished Sonic the Hedgehog simply because it lacked a minor feature from later iterationsCalavera wrote:I know what a noob.BILAL_XIA wrote: One more thing, the person who is playing Sonic The Hedgehog, sucked at the game bad like he couldn't even jump on a spring even.

Re: Downloading Play! A Videogame Symphany
Point Well Made however I don't play it because I don't have any past memories with it either where as I played Sonic The Hedgehog 2 so much as a kid that I practically know the levels by heart and playing it today still feels fun, I've probably played a lot of Sonic The Hedgehog 1, or watched someone else play it but just don't have the musical attachment to it, Hell I can even download the game and finish it in a couple of hours but why?DaMadFiddler wrote:Almost as lame as an otherwise-devout Sega fanatic who never finished Sonic the Hedgehog simply because it lacked a minor feature from later iterationsCalavera wrote:I know what a noob.BILAL_XIA wrote: One more thing, the person who is playing Sonic The Hedgehog, sucked at the game bad like he couldn't even jump on a spring even.
Speaking of which I must listen to the Green Hill Zone midi on my pc now!
I wish I could upload it here...
The Sonic Themes on the genesis I can relate most to are:
RoBoTnIk Theme: played on almost all Sonic games with slight alterations per stage?
Green Hill Zone: well every one loves it.
Chemical Plant: no apparent reason.
Flying Battrey: I don't know how but 8 years ago the theme started playing in my head, when I couldn't sleep this night and I started wondering where the hell did I hear this song... I wondered for hours laying in the dark and continued thinking for days where have I heard this song and somehow I remembered that its the Sonic theme from that stage flying battrey.
I dided a lot in this stage and used to hate it back in 96 or 7 (whenever I played it)

...Because it's a fun, well-made game?BILAL_XIA wrote:Hell I can even download the game and finish it in a couple of hours but why?
And by "download," I'll assume you either mean "play on Gametap" or "purchase on Virtual Console/XBLA"

It just makes the game feel incomplete and I don't want to play it...Calavera wrote:I know what a noob.BILAL_XIA wrote: One more thing, the person who is playing Sonic The Hedgehog, sucked at the game bad like he couldn't even jump on a spring even.

What are you talking about, I thought we were talking about the person playing in the video.BILAL_XIA wrote:It just makes the game feel incomplete and I don't want to play it...Calavera wrote:I know what a noob.BILAL_XIA wrote: One more thing, the person who is playing Sonic The Hedgehog, sucked at the game bad like he couldn't even jump on a spring even.
