Odd PC problem

Post by Veggita2099 »

I can't figure this one out. I recently upgraded my PC. When I finished I did a reinstall of Windows XP. Since then I haven't downloaded anything other then stuff from reputable websites (such as drivers basically).

For some reason my midi files won't play right. They constantly skip as if I am listening to a bad record. I know it don't take much PC power to play a midi as my 486 PC can play them while I browse the net. I have checked my processes and don't see anything out of place.

At first I thought it might just be Windows Media Player was just crap, however Winamp is doing the exact same thing.

Sound card problems most likely. Try to download a different set of drivers for it.

If not, maybe the interrupts are set to manual. Weird, but sometimes it happens.
