Re: PIRATES REJOICE
It's just The Pirate Bay using a Suprnova interface pretty much. Still good to see the domain in use again.

I remember when Googling for warez, movies and music just landed you at those "VOTE HERE #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6" sites covered in ads and no actual warez. Oh how times have changed...

Re: PIRATES REJOICE
Yea, I remember those days. The days of people uploading games like Grand Theft Auto and Quake to places like Homestead and Geocities in about 20 8mb files... Only to have the last one removed, or have a password because they ripped the links from another site....BoneyCork wrote:I remember when Googling for warez, movies and music just landed you at those "VOTE HERE #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6" sites covered in ads and no actual warez. Learn to Google properly. "-best", "-vote", "-free", and so on are your friends.BoneyCork wrote:I remember when Googling for warez, movies and music just landed you at those "VOTE HERE #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6" sites covered in ads and no actual warez. Oh how times have changed...

Yeah, it was all good till one of those Hentai pages came up in front of my 6-8 year old cousins, while trying to show them the wonders of emulation...BoneyCork wrote:I remember when Googling for warez, movies and music just landed you at those "VOTE HERE #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6" sites covered in ads and no actual warez. I'm sorry, the correct answer was:AuroEdge wrote:Tru storie mayn.CupNoodle wrote:BTJunkie > *

I'd also like to give eMule an honourable mention. It doesn't seem to have as big a user base as perhaps it once did, but its still the best for downloading individual songs and obscure and/or really old stuff of any sort.

Usenet is great for common stuff. It's the obscure stuff that you need p2p for.az_bont wrote:I'm sorry, the correct answer was:AuroEdge wrote:Tru storie mayn.CupNoodle wrote:BTJunkie > *
