I moved on the 14th of last month. After postponing my service ready date twice, and missing the last one by a couple days, I finally have Internet access. Thank you, Verizon.
Now I just have to decide who I'm going to switch to for my phone & Internet service once my one-year lock-in is up.
Yay Internets!

Re: Yay Internets!
When I switched from Comcast to Verizon, they got my DSL up & running before my service ready date. Mind you, the reason I want to switch isn't because it took a long time to set up my DSL. It's because their customer support makes me want to abandon my pacifism.Dew wrote:Weird, my old town was all Verizon and I hooked up my dad's and my mom's routers before the service ready date and they still worked.
