Interesting timing, especially after the recent $1 Billion repair bill / every 360 defective stuff.

Either way, for once I agree with you Nyar. I never liked him much either. Maybe it's just because I'm a Manc and he's scouse, but in every interview I have seen him in he comes across as a lot of an ass.

He does love Shenmue though... :D

What is even weirder is the guy that is taking Moore's place is Don Mattrick, a former EA president. So they kinda just traded people.

I agree with you.
I'm kinda sad to see him leave MS to tell the truth.
I wonder how he is going to feel having to hype up EA games for the PS3 and Wii etc :D , after all the 360 was his baby.

It's not really gonna be the same when he opens his shirt to reveal a Madden 09 tattoo exclusively available on every format.

I'm glad he didn't keep his promise of bringing the Shenmue saga over to the 360, or else it would've lost every single bit of its replay value

They sold the rights of Shenmue 2 to MS to publish it in the US, didn't they? It was done for the continuity of the series, which never happened. Peter Moore had a part in this.

And the replay value comment was simply some sarcasm at the lifespan of the average 360 console. It'd break down before you can play the game a second time.
