Hey everyone!
Well, I've recently bought a Treamcast, which brung an official DC controller in wich the VMU slots don't detect the memory card.
What can I do?
I got a prob with my Treamcast, it appears a black line on the left of the screen after the DC logo.
Here's 2 vids of the prob:
Pal game:

NTSC game:

Another issue is that the left speaker seems not to be working wtf, new console and all this sh*t..
HOWEVER, (no, it's not on the vids) there's a funny thing! Yesterday I played Street Fighter 3 double impact. I went to the options, redimesnsioned the screen, and it worked! The thing is, that just a few games have that option and I have to play with that sh*t!
Is there any solution for this? I am counting on u guys"

Re: DC controller/ Treamcast
Actually, everybody i know, including myself, wich has tried to put a composite out from a dc to a psone screen, got this black stripe, simply because DC games might not be in the same exact ration than PSX games (4:3 or whatever) or maybe because they're 640x480 and converted down to 320x240 or so.
I actually don't mind at all about this prolem and can deal with it...
You could try to open the Treamcast and give it a RGB out and input it to the screen. (and also, take some pictures of its internal for us to see it.) according to me: Treamcast = miniITX psu + psone screen + Dreamcast + modchip + custom case + shipping = $194.95 US.

Lol, gimme that case and I already got everything on my desk to replace the guts of it ... (a 90% done DCp)
About the boting problem, it looks like you needs to clean to psu connections (with sandpaper, or use solder to make it always connected), it's the only problem I can see.
