The Rookie Lot/Yearly Split 7".
Pre-Brand New/The Movielife/Saves the Day members in both of these bands, was a bit expensive but am quite happy with the purchase.

Traveling Wilburys (huzzah!) and Reel Big Fish - Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album (another great buy)
Incidentally, I got the Wilburys collection for $20 on Amazon. It looks like they've bumped it up to 25 now...but what's the difference between that and the "Limited Edition" shown above? The set I have has both albums, with two bonus tracks on each, and a DVD.

Fucking fantastic album. The DVD is good too. However, if you like RBF live, get The Show Must Go Off. It's the best live DVD I own, and I'm not even that big of a big RBF fan, it's just that good.DaMadFiddler wrote:Reel Big Fish - Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album (another great buy)

Hot Cross – Fair Trades and Farewells 12"
The Get Up Kids – Loveteller 7"
I've certainly been on a vinyl spending spree lately, well worth it imo.

Dissolve - Dismantle --and it came in shrink wrap! Those in the know will know that this masterpiece of metalcore came out on a very tiny label in 1996, and I would have been extremely happy to find a used copy without the artwork to replace the disc stolen from my friend's car.

Latest CDs I got:
Manowar - The Day the Earth Shook (live @ Earthshaker Fest 2005), not a CD, but a DVD, but I made MP3s out of it for on the road. Great compilation to get fired up for Magic Circle Festival. Two Manowar concerts in one weekend, I predict a hangover.
Graveworm - Collateral Defect: I've been a fan of these guys for a couple of years now, they used to make Gothic Black Metal, but Nutopia was more like Nu Metal, unfortunately. With their new album they went back to the old stuff a bit, combining best of both worlds. They brought back the melodic stuff which is what I enjoyed a lot, and missed on their previous album. Can't wait to see them live again... for the 6th time
My other two recent purchases are
Seiken Densetsu 3 Original Soundtrack (3cd box), one of my fav Snes games
Lufia Biography (4cd Lufia box), Lufia 2 was my first RPG, and it has a great soundtrack

Re: Post the last CD you bought
my one (limited) is bound in linen, has a bigger collectors booklet, a uniquely numbered certificate of authenticity. thats about it. oh and a couple of photos. and a sticker.DaMadFiddler wrote:what's the difference between that and the "Limited Edition" shown above? and it looks awsome on my shelf really, i was gonna get the normal one but i got the good one when my brother wanted one too (so i could use his and keep mine sealed)
of the 4 bonus tracks, like a ship is the only one i don't love.
and that documentary is awsome... listening to roy sing not alone anymore in the studio was just magic, they toned him down for the final product IMO. i can't get enough of that music.

Queen- Queen Rocks
I have most of the songs on it, but there are a handful that I don't have and they're stuck in my head.
