Coders needed to help porting a game engine for dreamcast
I was taking a look on the dcemu.co.uk forums i read about a really nice working game engine for PC, Linux, PSP, XBox...
http://www.dotblip.com/gg/viewtopic.php?t=96
the Admin of the site and owner of the project says that: "I've made a start on PS2, Gamecube and Dreamcast, but they're not ready yet..
Not many people homebrew those systems anyway. "
well i have been contact that guy, i he is a very nice person, and he is really interested i see your engine working on dreamcast.
this is what he told me on the msn: would be amazing see some of your games working on the Dreamcast, a have a few games that i work on that would all run on the DC if i wrote a little code.
so if you are interested in help you can post something here, our contact me on msn: ricardo (at) arquiteturadigital.com

Not to start any fights, but since that seems to be directed at me...Juan wrote:Dreamcast might get a homebrew RPG after all... Hopefully.
Thanks for the confidence you have in the DCRPG project. It really warms my heart to see all the support I have in trying to maintain the whole project all by my lonesome.
And back to the topic at hand....
I'd volunteer to try to help, but I have very little time of my own lately, and as you can see, it seems that I'm not well trusted with things anyway.

Well, since DCRPG seems to be going more on the MMORPG path than anything, it's nice to see an engine that could allow proper RPGs. I'm not saying that MMORPGs are crap, but DCRPG has had so many changes in its conception that I don't even know what to expect anymore.BlueCrab wrote:Not to start any fights, but since that seems to be directed at me...Juan wrote:Dreamcast might get a homebrew RPG after all... This looks pretty good though.
BTW, maybe the thread should be moved here

I have to admit, those are some very impressive graphics for a homebrew project for the PSP.
