WHAT HOMEBREW GAME??

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

There is no Homebrew game on the dc that I could consider all that worth playing more then once but If it happends I'd love to say the SOR remake if it gets ported otherwise I am going to say "nothing" sorry.
Have you played dreamcast today?

I still say, dRxLaX is one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played.

Komi is also a hell of a lot of fun. I'm planning on porting or cloning that one for the DS.

And certainly the Noiz2Sa port as well. I haven't tried the new smoother version of it. I'll have to get around to burning a new homebrew compilation disc for my DC someday soon. It's been a long time since I've done a proper one.

Giana's Return isn't just a demo, either, by the way. It's a full game. There's just a lot of bugs in the engine still, which is the reason it was considered a demo release. It's still pretty fun to play, though, and certainly complete as far as levels go. I think there's 30 levels over 6 worlds. I'm beginning to have doubts that the redone Giana's Return will ever come out at all at this point. Especially a Dreamcast version.

I've rather liked Beats of Rage, shame most of the mods are just straight graphic replacements.

Not lately Ape. The openbor engine removes most of the limitations the bor engine has and there are over 50 new features. Check out the website at my sig.

Nifty, it's been a long time since I looked into it and had long given up hope for such a thing.
