So I havent used photoshop too much before, but we are using it in multimedia. One of our projects is to turn a photograph of a famous figure into a cartoon. I tried doing some pictures of JFK, but they didn't turn out too well mostly cause of low resolution pictures. So I finally decided on Mikhail Gorbachev. I was planning on putting him in front of the Berlin wall, but I really liked how the original picture's shadow works out in this version. So any ideas, tips, etc.? My biggest problem is the mouth, but I don't know quite what to do as whenever I try to do lips it really looks horrible.
It looks a whole lot like Squigglevision. At any rate, though, you should really learn how to use the pen tool. Trying to freehand that must have been a total pain.
