I just found out a half hour ago that my sister passed away this morning, or overnight. She was in her 30's. Cause of death is unknown, her boyfriend couldn't wake her up and her body was cold, the police just alerted my mom an hour ago while I was in class. I don't know why God keeps fucking with my family. Over the course of almost a year and a half I've lost my dad, my aunt, my grandpa, and now my sister. My sister was my best friend, she lived with us most of my life, we did everything together. I was playing Toejam & Earl on my PSP last night oddly enough, that was the game we used to play for hours every day, and I remembered thinking "man, I can't wait until her and her kids come over for Christmas and we can play this game all day again just like old times". I also set up a gmail account for her phone last night. It's crazy how things happen so suddenly, I can't think of much to say. We're going to have two new members to our family now I suppose. Her kids are going to live with us. Her daughter Kylee lived with us for awhile while my sister did some jail time and she felt just like a daughter to me, now I'll be seeing her again, but why under these circumstances? And how the hell will we afford it?
It's kinda odd that the first thing I do is head to this forum to speak of it a little, I have a hatred towards blog sites for some unknown reason and this is really the only community I frequent online.
Someone usually gets a social security check if their parent(s) passed away. That should cover you on the financial side of things taking care of the kids.
On that note, I just found out the other day my uncle has 6 months left from cancer.
