It just showed up under my newly added demos on xbox live. IT says every 30 days demo charactors are deleted. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case though.
ive been keeping an eye on this. though i have the actual game ive never gone oneline before. I want a lot better handle of the game and more content before i go online.
anyways sega finally said something about it that the server is nor ready and should be up in the next week. Kinda dumb, but oh wellz. Hope to see u on there veggita.
It's pretty boring. I bought it the day it came out and only played for the first month. The gameplay is good, but the levels are boring as hell. And Sega keeping half the game content locked and unlocking with time = not cool.
It would be great if they just made a straightfoward Phantasy Star 5, and see Sega slap some sense into Sonic Team because they've really been falling off since Sonic Heroes.
The beta server will probably be as shitty as the open beta from the orginal beta server. It offers so little content that there is no possable way you'd ever be convinced into buying the game based off of it. They should just have a offline demo instead that includes a cool stage of the game and some mini missions.
They give you absolutely no direction as to what you can or should do. I'm hoping they re-do the demo sometime, cause I kind of want to decide whether I want this game or not, and this demo isint cutting it.
If anyone wants the 360 version of the game I will let them have it brand new for only $25. I already own the Japanese copy now and have sold my US 360 so theres no use.

I think that sums up my opinion of it. It looks like there might be some hope for it, but they don't do ANYTHING to try and draw you into the game. I mean they let you wonder around what seems like a large space station with no idea how to do nothing. After a few minutes I sorta got the controls down and they seem pretty decent. After wandering around I find a mission room and do some mission. Picking up several items in which I have no clue what they are for.
I have noticed a lot of 360 demos are like that though. They just throw you into a game you know nothing about with no tutorial or nothing and expect you to instantly love and and buy it.
I actually quite enjoy it. Though you can only do 2 missions for the demo. But i had played the main game and extra mode so i knew what to expect and whats wrong with the game. it has some flaws, but is still decent. I wont subscribe yet as sega likes dripping content.
I cancelled my PSU subscription.
Why? Because all I play nowdays is World of Warcraft, and now Burning Crusade expansion is out, I actually have no time for it...
Im curious, will a used copy of this game work fine? New its $60 however I see tons of used copies on ebay for around 20 bucks. Id be willing to give it a shot for that.
Yes they will. Game has ho serial what so ever. I'm trying to sell my US copy as I own a japanese version but seems like everyone else is selling them to so i might be sol.
