Rez 2 PS3 or Wii bound

Post by Sultan of Saturn »

From what I have heard, last month's EGM said that Tetsuya Mizuguchi is hard at work on another Rez game for either the PS3 or the Wii. My only hope is that it isn't PS3 exclusive as I don't plan on getting one for a long long time... However, just the thought of another Rez game makes me want to turn the lights down, the stereo up, and play some Rez...too bad I'm at work for 108 hours in a row...8 hours down, 100 to go!

Sega own the name REZ, so either sega will publish it, or it will have a new name

360 or Wii!!! As I own 360 and am getting a Wii.

Wasn't rumble a factor in Rez or so I've read. Also something about it vibrating so it's fun for girls too? If that's the case, doesn't it pretty much rule out the PS3?

Good point, playing Rez without rumble definately wouldn't make it as immersive as it should be. Perhaps the PS3 version will come with a vibrator of its own, USB?

With Wii it would be very nice as well, even though I'd love to see an HD Rez.

I heard some company made a game similar to DDR and got Sued for it and lost the case.

If Rez 2 is beeing published by Sega then I guess it's nice.

If Tetsuya San is making a game like Rez then he might get sued for it as it is a one of a kind gme.

In a rescent interview with Kikizo Tetsuya San said he may work with Sega again in the future.

"either the PS3 or the Wii" sounds too vague. I'm not buying this "news" for now.

I would hope it it bound for the Wii. Nintendo will have a greater installed base and games like Rez will feel right at home on the Wii because of the niche audience Nintendo is going after.
