My new lappy that I got about 3 weeks ago now has it HD partitioned with linux on a piece of it. I am using ubuntu, and im very impressed, but also confused. Luckly i have a friend who has been working with this for about 4 months so that helps a lot. This is amazing.

I am installing Ubuntu on an old PC. Unfortunately, it is Breezy. I tried to install xUbuntu, but it dies upon clicking install (I have the bare minimum for the desktop install version).

Back to the drawing board. If I had a larger hd at my disposal, this wouldn't be so hard...
