DCLinux Mirror
Hey all,
I've been looking for a site that has the DCLinux image. Any site that used to host it doesn't have it anymore and the m17n.org FTP server asks for a login name and password. I tried logging in anonymously, but it won't work. Does anyone know where the image is being hosted so I could download it?
Thanks,
Chryzmo

Did you try http://linuxdc.sourceforge.net/ ?
*Edit* I don't actually see any links to images and whatnot there... There was also one based on Slackware. I believe it was called DreamSlack, but google doesn't return much in the way of English-Language sites for that.

I've seen that site. It has some information about different drivers and what not. However, there isn't any information about how to get the image.
I saw a page on Linux Devices about how to make my own DCLinux disc, but I'd really like ot use the RedHat/eCos one first. This is the one I can't find anywhere.

I've seen the source forge page and tried a few other pages. I looked at every link Google brought back. I only found three pages that hinted at ever hosting the images. Two of them have dead links now and the FTP server I found won't let me log in at all.
Perhaps there is a BitTorrent that someone may be hosting that I could download from or something like that?

hey,
The linuxDC project is at sourceforge , but files are on cvs :
you need to install cvs ( i only know how to do with linux ,sorry )
install cvs with your package manager and :
1/ export CVSROOT=":pserver:anonymous@linuxdc.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/linuxdc"
2/ cvs login
3/ cvs checkout linux-sh-dc
There is also a complete "stage" recently build with the new gentoo release :
you can get here : http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml
go through a mirror and look for "experimental/sh/stages/stage3.tar.bz2"
You have to build a bootcd with these files .
I don't know really much more , i'm working on it
PS: if someone knows where to get a "cheap " BBA , it will be great.
