Now THAT is nice...

Be sure to grab it, despite its quirky interface, Bryce is incredibly powerful, and it can even be used for serious work.

I've used it since version 1.0, way back in 1994, when it was a Mac exclusive.

It's texture technology is really cool.

very nice, i messed around with it, but never got into it. but with some of the classes i'm taking this semester i hopefully should be able to do more with it.

NOTE: Bryce 5.0 does not run under Mac OS X Tiger (Mac OS 10.4 and above).
I wonder why that is? No matter, it makes me quite upset that I can't use it.

Because, you know, it was only ever posted on one site on the Internet. It's not like it was immediately cross-posted to prominent design blogs, tech diggers, deal sites, and discussion boards all over the web.
