NEO4ALL/AES MAME Sets

NEO4ALL/AES MAME Sets

I heard that NEO4ALL/AES likes older MAME sets, does anyone have any old .dat files for use with clrmamepro, or know which versions are best? As a side note, is there a Last Blade 2 prefetch file out there?

Oh and can you place the .aes files anywhere or do they have to be in the root?

I don't have an older .dat file. But yes, they can be placed anywhere - though I prefer to have them in the root.
Insane homebrew collector.
