DreamSNES and the VMU

Post by blankmynd »

How, exactly, do I load my saved games? I have the actual save files on my VMU but they don't register when the games load up. What am I doing wrong? What am I not doing?

The idea of DSNES is to save exactly what a cart normally would. In other words, if you make a Chrono Trigger save to the VMU, you can then play Chrono Trigger again and it will simply show your save in-game. There is no way to load a save without doing it from within the game.

Another example is on Super Mario World. If you make a new save in the game it should transfer to the VMU fairly seamlessly. Writes/Reads will be shown by a blinking VMU in the (i think) upper right corner.
