The Mega Man Effect is an application that emulates an effect seen in the classic NES game Mega Man 2. When you launch a Windows application, the screen goes dark, stars sweep the night sky and your application's icon is presented in a blue letter box bar with a cheesy 8-bit music introduction.

It's not practical, but its fun!

Yea same problem I had. I had to alt ctrl delete just to get rid of it.l

I had to try it. Cool until all those rundll32. Oh well. Definitely not something that aids productivity.

Yeah, it's a cool concept, but I got tired of it about five minutes before I downloaded it.
